Win this super pimp Toyota Altezza Gita Z Edition with a difference! Out with the 3.0L 2JZ naturally aspirated auto, in with the GS430 3UZ-FE 4.3L V8 manual! Muscle car performance & sounds with family car JDM status, cool wall confirmed!
Some will recognise this car as a Lexus IS300 SportCross which was most commonly found in the European and American markets. In Japan they were branded Toyota Altezza Gitas with this being a limited run Z edition JDM import. Originally only available as an automatic sporting the naturally aspirated version of the 2JZ.
This one has had a “mild” upgrade in the form of a Lexus GS430 3UZ-FE 4.3L V8 engine conversion! 300hp, buckets of torque and amazing sounds from these modern 4.3L Toyota V8’s! Throw into the mix a custom stainless steel intake with full 3″ stainless steel exhaust system and and you’ve got an incredible sounding car that literally turns heads wherever she goes.
The 3UZ-FE has been mated to a IS200 6 speed manual gearbox utilising a Rank One Peformance adapter kit, no more slush box auto. This car incorporates the factory OEM GS430 ECU via a Phoneix Engine Management wiring harness kit for a total plug and play soloution. The GS430 ECU has also been remapped for more additional ponies / better throttle response.
The chassis has been upgraded to handle the power increase with fully adjustable HSD coilovers (14KG front / 10KG rear), Destroy or Die spindles, Cusco upper arms plus numerous refreshed / replaced parts. The brakes have been overhauled with all new brake disks / pads front & rear and the calipers have also just been freshly rebuilt / painted. Wheels are super cool OZ Futura monoblocks wrapped in BM2000 semi slicks tyres which offer ample grip for a cheeky duggit or two.
Metallic grey bodywork is in a nice condititon benefiting from a recent paint correct and ceramic coating. The exterior is complimented with a Toyota factory Neo aero package and an Elixir V2 rear spoiler. This car looks the part and really stands out from regular Gita’s. The under chassis is also very clean with the car only being imported a few years ago.
If you like your JDM cars, need a bit of practicality, enjoy the sound of V8’s and wanna tell your mates you have a 4.3L then this little peach is for you!
