Ultimate sleeper configuration confirmed, this car will do 190mph / 305kph+ and is not for the faint hearted. One of the fastest cars we’ve ever had this Teg will quite literally push 1000cc super bikes down the road.
Fully built JDM K20A with Darton sleeved block built by Honda specialists Clockwise Motion, ready for all the sends. 87mm Wesico forged pistons, Pauter forged conrods, ACL race bearings, ARP bolts throughout, L19 head bolts, Supertech valvetrain, titanium retainers, block honed / cleaned / prepped, all new seals / gaskets, new Honda head gasket / oil pump / water pump, Skunk2 cam chain tensioner, baffled sump, larger AN10 breathers + a lot more additional work. A complete overhaul with everything needed to reliably run these insane power levels.
Large Precision 6262mm turbo running 2.0 bar in high boost combined with the 4.4 final drive propels this DC5 to 190mph+ with 696hp, beyond mental. Overkill Performance Sidewinder manifold, Turbosmart external gate and bonnet exit screamer pipe which literally pumps out 3ft flames, at nightime it’s quite the experience.
Skunk2 intake manifold with addtional porting, Super chunky Overkill Performance custom 3.5″ intercooler with welded boost pipes plus a Mad DP full custom 3.5″ turbo back exhaust – this car sounds incredible on boost and at idle the Sidewinder manifold gives a Subaru Impreza tone, she’s sounds unique to say the least.
K Pro 4 full standalone ECU, professional loom, 1000cc injectors, comprehensive twin pump fuelling system from AEM, custom swirl pot and a rising rate fuel pressure regulator from Radium cover the fuelling side. For daily driving she is mapped well and drives surprisingly similar to a regular DC5 until you get on boost.
Fully rebuilt strenghtned DC5 gearbox utlising Gear X running gear with a 5th gear cuff, brand new Competition Clutch twin disk clutch rated to 1200hp, agressive M Factory performance mechanical limited slip differential, Vibratechnics engine / gearbox mounts, billet subrame with adddional bracing, BAF motorsport rear 3 point strut brace, Yellow Speed fully adjustable coilovers, Tegiwa camber arms + numerous replaced bushes / ball joints / track rods result in a solid chassis that can just about handle the power.
Original DC5 alloys powder coated in gloss black wrapped in front Nankang AR1 road legal semi slick tires / Michelin Pilot Sport 5 rear tires. The brakes have been upgraded to K Sport 8 pots combined with larger floating rotors and DS2500 brake pads to give considerably improved stopping power. Rears calipers are stock with upgraded grooved / drilled disks and DS2500 pads, calipers have also been painted red which adds an additional 4hp to make the 700.
Championship white original paintwork in decent condition, a few stone chips to note on the front but nothing disatrous and expected when you end up pushing super cars down the road bumper to bumper. Rare original black Recaro interior in great condition with little wear to mention, seats have been well maintained and don’t have the usual bolster creases expected with these cars, plastics are also in good condition. The under chassis is clean benefiting from a full underseal on import and she is rust free.
Overall this car is crazy, if you’ve never experienced a 500hp + Honda then you are in for a big surpise. If you want to take your friends for rides and turn them white in 10 seconds then look no further, a complete animal that will push the boundries of what is physically possible!
